Nasi Goreng Memanggil

I'm laughing while typing this entry. No, it's not a joke but just wanna share one of my faveret version of Nasi Goreng (selain Nasi Goreng Tak Lumat hehe). I do not have specific name for it but it's like the Nasi asik memanggil2 aje. Hehe

Nasi Goreng Memanggil

Bahan2nye:

~ Nasi Putih secukupnye, in my case my nasik look cantek berderai coz it's Faiza Herbaponi 

~ Shallot, iaitu bawang merah kecik, atau bawang india etc dlm 4-5 ulas 

(i didnt use any garlic)

~ Cili Padi ikut selera pedas, actually prefer Cili Besar tapi dh abis pulak

~ Daun Limau Purut. ok this one i have to admit, tak niat nk buat versi kerabu ke ape its just i found the daun and dont want to waste them. 2-3 helai daun, dihiris halus

~ Belacan, 1 cube kecik yg comel 

~ Ikan Bilis ikut citarasa juga

Ape? tumbuk tak lumat?

Nope. This time you just throw the ingredient in the blender and blend them la hahaha 

Bahan tambahan:

~ 1 pack of Fishball (potong2)

~ 1 pack of Tempe (potong cute comel2)

Cara memasaknye:

~ goreng sekejap the tempe and put aside (tolak tepi aje dlm kuali tuh)

~ then tumis the blended ingredient till fragant

~ mixed them with tempe and fishball

~ jangan lupe tambah garam utk perasa

~ masukkan nasi putih tadi

Sweet Sour Siakap

Last week i cooked Papi's fav, Sweet Sour Siakap. Simple aje

Bahan & Cara memasaknye

1 ekor siakap - deep fried

1 can cube pineapple

2 tomatoes - belah 4 aje pon boleh

1 big onion, shallot, garlic - hiris

Sweet sour sauce, Plum sauce, Tomato sauce & Chilli sauce (in my case ade sweet sour & chili sauce aje yg lain dh abis haha)

sugar & salt

Tumis bahan hiris hingga wangi, masukkn cube nenas (kuah jgn buang), sume sos2 yg berkenaan, masuk garam & gula secukup rasa dgn air nenas tadik, tomato dan wallah dh siap! 

Tuang sos panas sedap tuh kat atas ikan dan hidang. Boleh dihias dgn daun ketumbar or masuk any sayur faveret but Papi settle with this. Selamat makan ! xoxo

 

Sup Udang Gertak

Tidak sangka ramai juga kawan yg tidak tahu pasal udang nih (yg smpai skang masih confuse apekah nama sbnr udang neh..)

Sup Udang Gertak 

(gamba diambil ketika tgh masak)

Bahan2 :

1kg udang gertak (ok tamak tapi aritu udang2 tu kecik aje)

1 biji tomato, 2 batang celery, 1 btg lobak (ekceli sayur optional) (maknenye nk tabur dgn daun sup ke etc tanya sama pokok ye..)

4 biji cili padi, seinci halia, 2 batang serai, 1 keping asam keping, 

2-3 biji bawang merah & bawang putih, air semangkuk

bunga lawang, kayu manis

Cara memasaknye:

tumis bawang merah, bawang putih & halia yg telah dihiris

masuk sekalik serai yg diketuk, bunga lawang & kayu manis

agak2 wangi masuklah air semangkuk (air xyah la byk sgt ok)

bila mendidih masuk aje udang yg telah dibersihkan tadik (udang nih kulit dia tajam tau, kena pandai siang.. gunting kan aje yg tajam2 tuh senang nk kopek & mkn nanti)

masukkn asam keping, cili padi & sayuran tadik.. 

bagi garam secukup rasa dan bila dh sedap angkat lah 

senang sgt kan? sedap tau hehe

Papi's Beef Stew

Salam,

as promised, jom peeps at Papi's homemade beef stew where he stole the recipe from who else .. Curtis Stone la hahaha.. i believed he changed the ingredients here and there but it's still yummy

Ingredients enough for 4 servings (seingtnye lah ye hehe)

- 700g beef (bentuk cube tu jgn kecik sgt tau)

- 2pcs potato, carrot, tomatoes & celery (potong beso2)

- 3cups of beef stock (Papi guna 2 cubes of Knorr beef stock aje slps pg cold storage pon xjumpa yg lain) but wise decision tuh

- red wine but papi tuka to Berry Juice

- Olive oil, secubit dua rosemary & thyme (daun buleh, Mccormick pon buleh)

- and onion, byk dlm 3biji onions gemok2 (potong 6 gitu), 

- garlic (chopped buat gaya mcm chef sekali ok)

- salt & pepper to taste (mix with beef)

Cara2 masak

- Heat olive oil in pot

- Sprinkle beef with salt & pepper

- cook until brown and set the beef aside

- Add onions, garlic, rosemary & thyme for 3mins

- Add Berry juice & tomatoes, simmer for 8mins

- Return beef to pot, add beef stocks and bring to gentle simmer

- Reduce to med-low heat and simmer for 1.5hrs with stirring occasionally (part nih dh lapo sgt dahh)

- Add cut potatoes, carrot & celery and cover up, simmer gently for 55mins (huh lagi? lamanyeee)

- Transfer beef & veggies to a bowl and Boil the remaining liquid for 20mins

- And lastly return the beef and veggies to pot (nih ikut budi bicara la nk kuah tu pekat ke cmne..) (alasan xtahan lapar)

Oh kejap!! i forgot the garlic loaf! haha so easy, just beli 1 stick of baguette and garlic spread. Potong roti tuh, sapu garlic and masuk microwave dlm 2mins and bleh makan! more pics bleh check kat FB

Yup, Sami can eat sandwiSh every day! this morning he asked for cheese sandwiSh (again) and looked at yesterday left over i suddenly need to be creative. last nite we have papi's chicken fried and i quickly made Chic & Cheese SandwiSh

 looks yummy kan the fried chicken? haha Papi yg goreng.

 i dice the fried chickens, sprink sikit aje lemon juice, mixed with mayo

and wallah! the cheese just optional as Sami loves cheese.

sedap tau! only 5mins in the kitchen and ur son hepi!

next entry would be Papi's Homemade Beef Stew! tapi nak balik kampung dulu.. see u!

Morning Breakfast

Scram You Egg + Cheese

It's a 5mins prep & simple sandwiSh for Sami boy. He loves cheese and wanted Cheese SandwiSh BUT there's a trick, being Sami he will ultimately eating the cheese alone. I wonder why he didnt asked for cheese aje. So i made him Scram You Egg + Cheese in front of him.

First put sikit aje butter in hot non stick pan.. 

'wow mami.. mami buat zuupp tikk swiau swiau... ' with demo how i break the egg and stir it haha

then i scramble the egg and done. without fresh milk etc. simple version ma..

i put 2 spoon of mayo and stir it well, sapu kat roti (while panas2 tu..) then put cheese on top..

'Mami sedap.. sami nak tgk tv...tengkiu.. ' berlalu menuju ke tv smbil mngunyah sandwiSh. haha senang kan? healthy also tau.

Bakso Simple

Salam, 

Rasa dah begitu lama tak mencuba masakan baru. Hari tu teringin makan bakso, simple aje. main campak2. Hasilnye Sami & Papi cakap sedappp hihihihi :D

Sebenarnye ini kali pertama masak bakso, oohh tidak.. meatball adalah instants semata2. tidak ada masa nak membuat secara manual, mulanya sbb masak spagetti meatball, tapi beef balls yg dibeli mmg sesuai utk bakso.. ini lah hasilnye. simple aje

See, licin pakcik kecik nih makan. resepi simplenye mcm nih:

bahan2:

1. satu pack beef ball (beli kat tesco lupa plak brand apa...zzz)

2. 1 pack kuew tiau (for me), half pack bihun (for papi) hehe

3. beef stock 

4. bawang putih & lada sulah

5. celery (jika suka)

6. kobis & taugeh (utk additional vege)

7. cili padi, gula & kicap (utk sambal kicap)

sup:

really easy. tumiskan chopped bwg putih hingga naik bau perang2, masuk sikit lada sulah and air (air rebusan daging sgt lah digalakkan). then bila mendidih, masuk beef stock, beef ball & celery smpai masak :P

celur kuew tiau / bihun dgn air panas

sambal kicap:

tumbuk bawang putih, cili padi, gula hingga lumat dan gaulkan dgn kicap

sedia di makan nyum nyum.

Sambungan Buku Lama

Salam lovers,

Masih di dalam bulan syawal memang patut meminta maaf. Ampun maaf kepada yang customers sepanjang bulan syawal ini. memandangkan kami tidak mempunyai staff yang membantu di kedai Take Me Home banyak sungguh orders terpaksa ditolak. Terasa sungguh bersalah lebih2 lagi tempahan dari rakan yang selama ini memberi sokongan tidak dapat ditunaikan, belum lagi entry tertunggak dari customer sebelum bulan puasa

Walaupon tumpuan lebih kepada Take Me Home, sudah tiba masa nya saya menyambung buku yang agak lama terhenti. Saya bermula dengan Pack Me Love. Tidak mahu usaha selama ini menjadi sia-sia

Saya selalu juga menunggu bulan Ogos. Selain meraikan harijadi (kes tidak sabar terima hadiah), saya juga berkongsi bulan kelahiran dgn Bapak (7 Ogos) dan Kakak aka Mami Cantek (13 Ogos). Itu entry iklan :P

Minggu lepas saya menerima 3 tempahan untuk minggu pertama bulan Ogos tetapi satu terpaksa ditolak kerana masih sibuk menjaga kedai (maaf Tha, lain kali ok). Agak lama juga Pack Me Love berehat. Bagi ruang dulu kat Take Me Home. Alhamdulillah Take Me Home dah selamat di subang parade. Banyak juga orders terpaksa kami tolak, paling frust untuk rakan baik Yatie Hashim yang nak order untuk Hari Susu Ibu. Maaf Tha, betol2 tak sempat, kecewa bukan sebab tempahan makanan tetapi lebih kecewa kerana tidak dapat menyebokkan bersama2 memeriahkan sambutan Hari Susu Ibu :((

To be frank, this month breakfast is quite slow. plus the cuti sekolah and my back pain, the pack is not always sold out and me taking so much leave (ewah! hahaha). Normally i will send the invoice twice per month so i can have little cash to buy some stock & extra money to take sami to movie (hamboiii kan dah baca Buku Jana RM Dari Rumah haippp!)

Today i bring Sami to station 'mami, sami taknak school, sami nak mami.. ' oh so sweet and i met the owner of the station. Auntie .. (ok i forgot her name damn), she's so sweet & kind to us. She let sami play with the kittens in her small, neat office room. Yes, the station have 3 kittens. memang comel & behave sbb xpenah kucing2 tu kacau display rack tau.

We chat for about 1/2hr till sami cried coz one of the kitten bite his finger, definitely his fault. Sapa suh cengkam badan kucing tu. Anyway, auntie generously give tips to me. She even gave me opportunity to sell other stuff for next fasting month. Thank Auntie. She also told me that the station is 30yrs old.. huk aloh.. Normally i only send pack Fried Kuew Tiau, Fried Mee, Sandwishes & Frankie but she asked me to send Nasi Lemak Cempaka as well. Oh syukur alhamdulillah. Nasi Lemak is one of the sellable items, cant wait to send them tomorrow morning.

Farewell Partey

Thanks to Lily from GRA Architect who ordered lunch to farewell her collegue, lunch for 30paxs for each menu plak tu. Unfortunately i didnt have time to snap all of it (as usual menci)

She ordered: Nak Prawn Kuew Tiau, Made Me Macaroni, Love Me Chicken Slice, Scram You Egg + Cheese & Jelly Drinks. 30 paxs for each menu. Berpeluh makcik nak mengangkatnye.
